I didn't expect it from them

Well your warm heart won't change their cold soul. You feel like a fool when in the end you were totally wrong about who they were. It is hard to believe that you gave them way more than they deserved. You sacrificed your time and money to help them yet they will cost you thousands of dollars more as they exit out of your life. It is sad that this isn't the first time your kindness cost you. It's hard to say it won't happen to you again because that is the price you pay for having a warm heart. But it will make you avoid getting close enough to anyone to give them a chance. Don't let their cold soul change your warm heart.
