Tomorrow is Halloween. Not many people decorate their yards for this holiday. To those that do I would like to Thank You. I enjoy looking at them as I drive by each day. It brings a smile to my face each time my eyes go directly towards them as soon as they get in my sight. Automatically and subconsciously my mind is focused on your decorations forcing me to Smile everytime I pass by. It reminds me that I need to be sure to decorate my front yard this Christmas season to force a smile on those that pass by. On Halloween night all the kids will be smiling as they dress up and get some candy.

There is always something that needs to be done. You work all week and work on your days off getting everything done that you need to get done. When you are making your"to do" list be sure and schedule in a break or two for yourself. Getting a break to relax and take in a few breaths of oxygen is just as important as any job you have scheduled for yourself. Each day in order to be able to get done with everything you have planned to do plan on getting the oxygen your body needs to be able to do it. Being too busy that you can't think straight will cloud your judgment making it impossible to get it all done right. It takes oxygen to your brain to function properly so take a break to stop and breathe throughout your busy day.

The first time you experience something painful is enough! Learn what you need to from it to make sure it doesn't happen again. But if you keep reliving it over and over again in your mind you have to feel it over and over again. It was bad enough the first time that someone else hurts you but why on earth would you put yourself through it over and over again? You can be your own worst enemy. You may not been able to prevent it from ever hurting you but you can prevent it from ever hurting you again if you stop reliving it over and over again in your mind. "Just Flush It" out of your mind over and over again every time it pops into your mindso you don't have to relive it over and over again.

When someone you care about ask you for your opinion you have to be honest. Sometimes it is a serious circumstance they are facing and they are looking to you for facts as you see them. You help by pointing out the facts and weighing out the consequences in their decision on how to react to it. If you are honest no matter if they take it to heart or form their own opinion and go down a path that in your opinion is wrong, you will feel good that you were honest. If you just agreed with their point of view and didn't give your honest opinion and they choose the wrong way you would honestly feel horrible because your honest opinion may have prevented it.

Everyday is a new day. A day to enjoy your life. So when negative memories of your past pop up in your mind you got to FLUSH them out of your mind before they have a chance to fill your new day with problems from your past. If you plan on enjoying each day then plan on leaving your past behind you so you can. You can't change the past but you can change your thoughts to enjoy your todays. Peace of mind is just a flush away all you got to do is JUST FLUSH IT.

Some things in Life you do over and over again a time or two throughout your Life's journey. It is definitely helpful to have prior first hand knowledge but it can still be challenging. Things are different then they were a decade or two earlier. Which means what worked back then may not work today. Nowadays with the technology of computers it is the only way to take care of almost everything. Knowing where to go or who to talk to is helpful but not how it is done today. Unfortunately technology takes away the Human connection which is needed sometimes to get someone to care enough to help get it done at times.

If you look for something positive in the circumstances you are in you will find them. If you look for something negative in the circumstances you are in you will find them. For example if you need to repair something in your home you can see both the positive negative in the situation. Of course you can be angry that you have to do it at all or you can be glad you have a home to work on. There are many people who don't have a home. I am positive if you look for something positive it will make it easier on you. I am positive if you focus on the negatives it will only make it harder for you.

Once something is done it is what it is. It can't be undone. All you can do now is damage control. It is a lot easier to step back from the situation and thinks about how you should react to prevent the damage in the first place. If you can control yourself long enough to think about it you will give yourself time to realize that your first reaction would have done damage. Take a step back because you will make the best decision on how to react after you think about what your actions would bring.

Boy how hard Life can be dealing with the endless challenges you have to face throughout your Life. It doesn't get easier the older you get either. Unfortunately no matter how many times you have faced the challenges nor how hard you try to avoid them they keep coming throughout your Life. But like the song says ...let the sun shine in and face it with a grin. Winners never lose and losers never win. Just grin and bear it and Just Flush It as it comes to keep smiling because its just Life and in the end its your Life so enjoy it while you are living it.

As you go through life the younger generations can not understand the older generations way of thinking. But one day when they get older and have experienced things they will. Until you experience it you can not possibly see it. If you are lucky you will live long enough to here them say now I understand what you were talking about. Until they do you just have to hear them say you are just grouchy and set in your ways.

Too bad they can't take the excess water causing flooding in South Carolina and ship it to California where they are in a drought. I hear them debating putting pipe lines in for oil maybe they could consider pipelines to transfer the water. You can be flooded at times with too many thoughts but you have pipelines built in. It doesn't have to fly out of your mouth you can choose to flush it out of your mind so it can not do any damage. Because if you let all the negative thoughts fly out of your mouth or build up it can do devastating damage just like the floods in South Carolina.

When the Halloween costumes fill the store you realize it is already almost the end of another year. It's been 10 months yet it feels like it was only a couple of months ago you were celebrating the New Year. The Dollar Tree Store has put out their Christmas decorations the same time as their Halloween. In the blink of an eye it seems another month has gone by. Here I am buying costumes for Halloween and Christmas wrapping paper at the same time knowing that before I blink twice it will be Christmas already. So hey guess I need to make my mind up now for my New Years resolutions because the third time I blink it will be New Years Day.
