A BORING DAY BEING SICK WITH THE FLU AT HOME is a DAY YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL YOU DIDN'T SPREAD IT TO ANYONE ELSE

    The FLU SEASON this year is TOTALLY DISRUPTING what you FEEL LIKE DOING or WHAT YOU CAN EVEN DO.

    YOU CAN'T go out not only because YOU ARE TOO SICK but also because it is HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS and YOU SHOULDN'T SPREAD the FLU.

     Why? Because it can have a DEVASTATINGLY IMPACT on those YOU SPREAD YOUR FLU to.

    There are SOME PEOPLE BOTH YOUNG AND OLD who's HEALTH CAN NOT HANDLE the FLU.

    I KNOW that YOU HAVE THINGS TO DO and if YOU DON'T DO IT THEN NO ONE WILL do IT and  it WON'T GET DONE but..... YOU SHOULDN'T SPREAD THE FLU.... PERIOD.

    If YOU have gotten the FLU then YOU KNOW that YOU JUST GOT TO STAY HOME and GET PLENTY OF REST and DRINK PLENTY OF WATER and before YOU KNOW IT IN A FEW DAYS YOU WILL RECOVER FROM THE FLU.

    YOU NEVER KNOW WHO WILL BE AT THE GROCERY STORE that is just TOO WEAK TO CATCH THE FLU.

    YOU NEVER KNOW WHO IS AT THE ELECTRIC COMPANY when you go to pay your bill...WHO HAS A COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEM and they are just TOO WEAK TO CATCH THE FLU.

    YOU NEVER KNOW WHO AT THE RETAIL STORE that you VISIT has CANCER AND THEY are just TOO WEAK to HANDLE CATCHING THE FLU.

    Having the FLU MEANS YOU SHOULD STAY HOME so YOU DON'T SPREAD THE FLU TO OTHERS ....... PERIOD.... It's that SIMPLE...DON'T SPREAD THE FLU.

    REMEMBER....WHATEVER NEEDS DONE CAN WAIT A FEW DAYS WHILE YOU RECOVER FROM THE FLU....SO WAIT UNTIL YOU RECOVER FROM THE FLU.

CUTTING it TOTALLY out of your DIET may be IMPOSSIBLE TO DO

     Sometimes when you decide to go on a DIET you set yourself up for FAILURE.

     If YOU DECIDE to have it in MODERATION you can find it EASIER to STICK TO THE DIET because you can still EAT IT IN MODERATION.

   If YOU tell yourself you can NEVER HAVE IT EVER AGAIN, you are LIKELY TO NEVER STICK TO THE DIET. 

    If YOU tell yourself that you can only have it ONCE A WEEK it let's you LOOK FORWARD TO ENJOYING IT WITHOUT OVERDOING IT.

    I THOUGHT I would MISS NOT HAVING it WHENEVER I WANTED but HONESTLY I now see it as something I TREAT MYSELF TO ONCE A WEEK.

     YOU CAN BENEFIT from CUTTING BACK WITHOUT FEELING CHEATED OUT OF ANYTHING.

     BE REALISTIC with SETTING your GOALS from the BEGINNING by MAKING A PLAN THAT YOU CAN EASILY STICK TO.

     NOTHING IS PERFECT NOT EVEN A DIET.... but it is PERFECTLY GOOD FOR YOU TO DO WHAT YOU CAN DO to be HEALTHIER.

    DON'T SET YOURSELF UP FOR FAILURE by HAVING UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS FOR YOURSELF.

Be careful GIVING someone YOUR OPINION

    If someone DOESN'T ASK for YOUR OPINION then..... Keep YOUR OPINIONS to yourself.

    You may THINK that GIVING YOUR OPINION is something that THEY WANT TO HEAR or it MAY HELP THEM...BUT

    YOUR OPINION can really make them FORM AN UNFAVORABLE OPINION of you.

   And unfortunately being older I KNOW that a SIMPLE OPINION YOU EXPRESSED years ago can be something that THEY NEVER FORGET.

    Which can then make it IMPOSSIBLE to CHANGE THEIR OPINION OF YOU for a LIFETIME.

    I REMEMBER when I was young there was ALWAYS a COUPLE OF RELATIVES and FAMILY FRIENDS who were always QUIETLY OBSERVING the CONVERSATIONS.

    They NEVER seemed to PUT IN THEIR TWO CENTS or APPEARED to NOT HAVE AN OPINION ON ANYTHING.

   They would just SIT THERE QUIETLY AND SMILE and occasionally nodded their head.

    Now I GET WHY they ONLY LISTENED. That is why everyone looked forward to seeing them and NO DISAGREEMENTS over their DIFFERENCES OF OPINIONS.

    Because they had NEVER EXPRESSED THEIR OPINIONS OUT LOUD...so THEREFORE they weren't EVER JUDGED BY THEIR OPINIONS.

   YOUR OPINION is the only one that truly matters but it it also MATTERS that SOMETIMES YOU just NEED to KEEP YOUR OPINIONS TO YOURSELF. 

    JUST like in a poker game in the GAME OF LIFE You got to KNOW WHEN TO HOLD THEM.... WHEN TO FOLD THEM....AND WHEN TO WALK AWAY QUIETLY.
