Somethings are just not worth worrying about. If the laundry needs to be put off till tomorrow- who cares. If it rains on the day you were going to grill out-just cook indoors. Pick and choose what your reaction will be not based on how you feel at that moment but on asking yourself....Does it really matter? Is it worth the stress of worrying about? Take care of your health by not only what you eat but what you choose to worry about.

When too many issues are going on at the same time and your world seems upside down-Focus on what's important first. How do you decide? You can go eeny-meeny-miny-mo or you can ask Joe blow. But only you know you best and talking to yourself might sound crazy..... But it is even crazier to let someone else decide what's important to you.

When a situation is out of your control you need to realize that sometimes nothing you can do will make it better but anything and everything you do can make it worse. If you can walk away-then please do. If it is something that you can't do without-then watch it from a distance and remember silence can be the key. We may need the rain but that doesn't mean you have to stand outside in a lightning storm.

When it seems like there is too many things going on at once and you can't seem to make sense of it all.....take a break. Walk outside, scan the tv channels, shut out the chaos long enough to take a deep breath. Give your brain fresh oxygen to tackle what you need to. You'll make better choices when you can think clearly. Cloudy judgement can lead to a thunderstorm that could have been avoided.

Just as athletes are rotated in a competitive game, so that a player can relax in between plays of such a physically draining sport. Your mind needs to take a break away from mental overload. If you got to drive to work no matter what...complaining about it will only multiply your stress. Learn to enjoy the drive-relax. Somethings you have to accept like your commute to work to get a paycheck.

I have always heard that laughter is the best medicine but never dreamed that we could laugh away our aches and pains and cure drug addiction. Go out tell a joke and help others ease their pain.
