How did it fit in a tiny space?
Trying to hide the Christmas gifts so they don't see them means simply wrapping quickly and slapping on a name tag and stacking it in a closet. No name tag would mean you would have to open it later to see what it is. It usually doesn't work trying to remember the shape of the package because it is easy to forget just what shapes they are. Later on you can sit down and put the ribbons and bows on which will disguise how rushed it was wrapped. Till then they stack neatly all tightly in a corner but to protect the bows they will now have to be spaced out all over the place. As you look around enjoying all the beautifully decorated gifts it is always amazing that they all fit into that tiny closet. They are mesmerizingly beautiful despite that you had just shoved them in after they were quickly wrapped.

What if they were listening?
What would you say to someone if you could get them to listen? It is your chance to plant a positive idea or message in a World full of negative ones. I will include some of them in a future post. There is such an overwhelming need for positive ideas and messages in the World. Send yours to share to Billie Bob P.O. BOX 1493 Middleburg, Florida 32050. No one can ever learn something if it was never taught. Share your ideas, lessons and traditions to pass on to others. The World won't get better on it's own we all must do what we can so pass it on. What would you say to someone if you could get them to listen?

You will only get what you put into it
Sooner or later it is clear to you that you will reap what you sow. It is true that you will only get out of it what you put into it. If a farmer planted only trees instead of mostly vegetables then instead of harvesting food he would create a forest. The Three Little Pigs are a good example. Building a house out of material that won't withstand the Big Bad Wolf won't save them from the Big Bad Wolf. If you want to reap the benefit for all your hard work then you will have to make sure what you do will reap the benefits that you are after.

Nature is Yoga for your mind
Have you ever watched a cloud race? If you haven't you just got to watch one. There are some clouds that even though they look much bigger and heavier they just fly right on by those little ones. Whenever you are stuck sitting and waiting somewhere anyways you can just look up and there is usually a race in progress. It is Yoga for your mind and meditation all rolled into one. It is peaceful and relaxing leaving you feeling refreshed. If it is not a cloudy day you can just look down and see what bugs you can watch race about always in a hurry to go somewhere perhaps you can find out where that is. When you need refreshed just look around.

No matter "how" or "why"
If a change is necessary then make the changes that are necessary. If you know it is time for a change then what are you waiting for? It may not be comfortable and it may even be difficult but it is necessary if you want things to change. If it's time for a change in your life then does it really matter what time it is or how hard it will be? Some people spend all their time asking why things happen and some asking how it could even possibly have happened. Yet there are others who make things happen by realizing that no matter "how" or "why" it happened they will just have to do whatever is necessary to change it.

You might regret it
It is what it is. Without a doubt those words leave no room for "what if's?" It's as final as what's done is done. All the more reason why you got to stop and think long and hard about what you are about to do or say because once you do then...What's done is done. Taking a moment to think about it before you react is the only way to be sure once you act on it you won't regret it when you are done. The only regrets you have in life are for the things you didn't do and the things you wish you had not done. Try to live life with no regrets.

Enjoy it while you are able to
When we are young we dream of being able to do things that we are just not old enough to do. When we are old we dream of being able to do things that we are just too old to do. Through each stage of our life what we are able to do changes. That is why it is so important to enjoy what we are able to do not wasting a moment of it thinking about what you are not able to do. The same is true for enjoying what you have not waste what you have spending your time complaining about what you don't have. Today is the only day you can enjoy because yesterday is already gone and tomorrow may never come. Enjoy each stage while you are living it.

Your body reacts to what the brain tells it
Being Heart Healthy takes more than just watching what foods you eat and making sure you get the right amount of rest and exercise. Negative thoughts that only leads to negative emotions that can do as much damage to your heart as greasy foods. Your heart as well as all your organs get squeezed and at times get overworked as they are forced to endure the stress you put them through. Even if what you had stressed over turns out that you didn't need to be stressed at all about your organs literally suffer the damage regardless of the outcome. When your heart is forced to work at a frantic pace it gets worn out doing damage that doesn't go away when it begins to beat at a healthy rate. Your body reacts to what the brain tells it.

It was more than a "little booth"
There are some things in life that you don't even know you would miss till they are gone. For instance we always looked forward to the County Fair each year. We get excited to enjoy the rides that thrill us and the games that entertain us. And of course the food like the corn dogs and funnel cakes that are without a doubt on my list to enjoy while I am there. Shortly after arriving we find the nearest vendor with that refillable Homemade Lemonade cup to quench our thirst. The Pig Race is the first attraction that we make sure to see. Before we let the kids get their faces painted we head to the little photo booth to get our refrigerator magnet photo to mark another year. What? Where is the "little photo booth?" Where did they move it? What? I found out the nice elderly couple had retired and took their booth with them. It may have been a "little booth" but it was a big part of our Fair experience to have a family photo to treasure.

Allow what was meant to happen to you happen
If it was meant to be it will happen does not mean you don't have to do anything it will just happen if it is meant to happen. It still requires you to do all you can do so it has a chance to happen. Even though you do all you can do to make it happen doesn't mean it is guaranteed to happen. Sometimes it is what you do along the way that will be what you needed to do to allow what was meant to happen to you happen. Opportunities may come your way but you still got to reach out to grab them because opportunities are never lost they are taken by someone else.

Childhood fantasies v.s. Grown up realities
Far too many people thought that Life would be lived like in a fairy tale and they are still waiting as if it were going to happen any minute. Well it's not so you will have to "Just Flush It" out of your mind. We all had that thought when we were young but.... It's not. I believe we were meant to believe that so we enjoyed every minute of our childhood not wasting one precious second of it worrying about how hard grown up Life really is. Being a grown up comes with a lot of responsibilities. It will only have a chance at a fairy tale ending if as an adult you don't act irresponsibly by waiting and you accept that it was merely a childhood fantasy.

Give them a November present
I have always been disappointed when the gift that I got someone for Christmas that was a "Holiday themed" gift couldn't have been enjoyed along with all the other Holiday décor they put out the day after Thanksgiving. If I purchased warm clothes and jackets to keep them warm in the winter season I knew it was something they needed at the first winter snap not on Christmas. Then I decided for now on if they need it in November then I will give them a November present. They smile just as big as big as they would have and who wouldn't want a November present.

So you won't be too tired to enjoy it
It's time already to plan your Thanksgiving meal and make your grocery list. Since this is a time where making sure you have all the little ingredients to make the dishes taste like have for generations. Making every ingredient necessary and a list is usually required. I have learned from past years that the best time to buy your special ingredients is weeks ahead so you will be sure to have them. And of course the cleaning for the Holidays has to be planned for those "only cleaned on Holidays" parts of your house like the ceiling fans. The older I get the years have taught me to start early so I don't have to use up all my energy just days before making me too tired to enjoy Family and Friends who visit only on the Holidays by getting things done earlier saving your energy for when it counts.
