It is really annoying when you pay good money to be treated like you are annoying them. What the heck is wrong with this picture? As the small "Mom and Pop" businesses one by one close their doors in this economy the businesses that are left without competition can get away with being annoying. Help keep the small businesses open which will ensure that if you get annoyed you will have the choice to go somewhere else. Competition is needed to keep them competing for your business. When supplies are limited and the demand is high if you need it then you will have to accept the price to get it no matter how annoying it is.

If you only view yourself in a negative way then you will talk yourself out of doing what you need to do. You will stunt your personal growth. Once you begin to see yourself in a positive way you will know that you can do it and knowing you can is the first step that is necessary to get you up and started. What other people think about you does not determine your personal growth it is how you view yourself that will decide whether you personally grow where you are planted. If you keep reminding yourself about all your faults you will bury yourself and your future.

Although I am always hoping the answer to my question is a YES I at least hope if the answer is NO I get an Honest No. Telling someone that you will try to get it done when you know you have NO intentions of doing it is down right dishonest. If they are waiting for you it means they are not looking for anyone else. There is nothing wrong with telling someone NO I can't help you. The truth won't hurt anyone. An Honest NO will keep them searching till they find what they need. Don't say YES when you know good and well you really mean NO WAY.

Lots of people suffer from high blood pressure. But did you ever think about when you are worried or angry you tighten your muscles not allowing your blood to flow normally. Imagine for a moment all the juice and pulp that you squeeze from an orange to make orange juice. After you squeeze out all the insides you have to throw the rest away it is inedible. Every time you get angry or stressed out you tighten your muscles and squeeze tightly around your organs. You are literally squeezing the life out of yourself. Whatever has angered you or that is stressing you out can not possibly be worth dying for. If you want your organs to keep you alive then don't squeeze them to death.

If the prize you are going after is to make someone smile then think of all the ways you can "Win it in a minute." Opening the door for someone will automatically make them look straight at you and smile. Reaching up to get something for someone at a store that they were struggling for will sure make them smile. Taking the time to say Thank You when you feel someone deserves it will certainly make them smile. Letting someone know that you noticed their hard work by telling them what a good job they did will definitely make them smile. In less than 60 seconds you can brighten someone's day by making them smile. How many times today can you "Win it in a minute?"

Listening to someone when they need to "Just Flush It" out of their mind so they can move on is a "Big Help." Once they can clearly think they can figure out a solution on their own. Don't just say "There is nothing I can do" and walk away because sitting quietly while they talk doesn't require but a simple minute of your time. It is just a simple act of compassion that will help them for a lifetime if you will simply STOP a minute to listen. A minute at a time we could bring Peace to the World one person at a time simply by taking a minute to stop and listen so people can "Just Flush It" making room for "Peace of Mind" to get in.

You know the phrase "You are what you think you are?" Well that is the key that you need to make a positive difference in your life. If you could only understand that if you view yourself in a negative way then you will have a negative outlook which can only lead you to a negative outcome. By the same token if you view yourself in a positive way your positive outlook will lead you to a positive outcome that your positive attitude leads you to. If you tell yourself you can't do it then you won't because you won't try. If you believe you can do it then you will try until you get it done. If you think you can you will. If you think it is impossible then it will be impossible for you.

I realized it would be hard to explain to others by choosing to entertain a negative thought they would be bombarded in an instant with negativity that will immobilize them. My analogy to help.... It's like bringing home a roach from the store in your grocery bag. If you squish him quickly you will not be affected by it. On the other hand if you let it get away it will have 1000 babies that will then be overwhelming. They say roaches could survive a nuclear bomb which is similar to the endless stream of negative thoughts that run through your mind. It is easier to squash out any chance of a roach infestation when it's only one just like you should flush out a negative thought before it takes over just as quick. "Just squash it like a bug."

Seems like yesterday the trees in my front yard were bare with no leaves now today nearly every inch on their limbs are covered with leaves. It's as if a button was pushed and thousands of leaves simultaneously popped out. All the birds are flying around picking and choosing where their nest will be built. There was family after family of insects coming from every direction as the sign of leaves means they can come out of their underground spots to make a new home. I watched a woodpecker easily pecking devouring a buffet of insects as they trailed up the tree. Spring may have officially started weeks ago but for the animals and insects it starts when they see new leaves they can hide in.

In the blink of an eye it seems another day has gone by. It's as if you start your day with a plan then next thing you know there isn't enough time in the day to get done all you had planned. A fast paced World seems to make time go by even faster. It doesn't allow you to take the time to "Stop and smell the roses", so to speak. As you spend all your time at a frantic pace you are too busy to enjoy the "little joys" in life as you chase after some big thing in life that you might enjoy later. You have to slow down long enough to enjoy life while you are living because Happiness is in the "little joys" along the way.
