You can't take it with you

    We spend our lifetimes gathering THINGS that interest us.

   We display the THINGS to enjoy them again and again.

   Unfortunately you can't take it with you and your family doesn't want it when you are gone.

  So what will happen to all the THINGS you have collected?

   If your family doesn't want it while you are alive they also won't want it when you are gone.

  So as you are dusting all you have collected perhaps you need to get creative to pass it on to OTHERS so your family has less to deal with down the road.

  I decided to pick a few THINGS that I really had hoped certain family members would keep.

  Then I wrapped them up and decided to give it to them as their gift for Christmas.

  Now at least they have one of my "DUST COLLECTORS" to DUST on their shelves that they will hopefully ENJOY THE MEMORY of a special gift I gave them.

  I also picked a special "DUST COLLECTOR" that I wanted to give to friends I had known and wrapped it up and mailed it to them.

   It was fun to get a call when they received it and together we were reminiscing about why I chose it to pass on to them.

   Now I have less to DUST.
