Please and thank you

When someone says please, you are happy to do it. When someone says thank you, you are glad you could do it. But when someone is demanding you do it, it is hard to want to do it. When someone doesn't even acknowledge that you did it, it makes you wander why you even bothered to do it for them. Being thankful and grateful for something that someone does for you makes them feel appreciated. If you want help doing it , then say please. If you are thankful for what they did, then say thank you. They say words can't hurt you, but they can. And just in case you didn't know it, a kind word means a lot.
