Use your own discretion
Our minds have an endless stream of thoughts running through it. Some are tucked away deep inside just waiting to pop up. As a thought pops up front and center in your mind trying to grab your attention, you have to quickly decide whether you give it a second thought or quickly JUST FLUSH IT out of your mind. If at a glance you see a it is a painful experience from your past quickly JUST FLUSH IT before you have to relive it again. You couldn't prevent it from happening the first time but you can prevent yourself from reliving it over and over again. You will never forget what happened but you can prevent it from hurting you again and again. You can choose to JUST FLUSH IT instead of reliving it. If you keep reliving your past then you can't enjoy the moment you are in. It's like driving a car while only looking in your rearview mirror instead of looking forward to prevent you from wrecking. You have to enjoy the moment you are in if you are going to enjoy life while you are living it. The past is gone and tomorrow may never come but today is yours to enjoy. Everyday is a new day to create new memories. Take the painful experiences from your past and JUST FLUSH IT.
