When my grandkids come over to play they certainly bring out the child inside me. I purchased several things to enjoy with them on their spring break. I was so excited to show them what we were going to play with today. They wanted to play on the Nintendo but they could see how excited I was about playing what I had bought. I got some juggling balls so we could learn how to juggle. Although we had a great time with them, none of us were able to juggle. But it was something I had always wanted to try. Then I brought out the origami book, that too was something I had wanted to try. They humored me and sat down to try it. After a few minutes they asked if they could play Nintendo now. I realized that they were not excited at all to play with the stuff I had purchased. Although the kid in me came out in the store when I bought them apparently I was the only "kid" today that got excited about playing with them. I didn't bother to bring out the other things I had bought to play. I just let my grandkids go play with the Nintendo that they were excited to come over and play. Later when they left I decided to take back the other things i had bought and use the money to buy a new Nintendo game that I knew they will be excited to play tomorrow. Kids love to play but what they like to play changes over time.
