You may be able to do it faster but that doesn't mean you will do it just as good as you would have if you would have taken your time. Doing it right is more important than how fast you do it. It may take longer than you thought but it takes patience to get the results you want. It is easy to take your time when you get started on something that you know will take a long time to accomplish. But the closer it gets to being done the harder it is to wait for it to get done. You get so excited to reach your goal that you may be tempted to hurry up and get it done. But you know that all the hard work you have put into it could be wasted time if you mess it up as you rush to get it done. It's like seeing a red light up ahead so you start slowing down to be able to stop then out of nowhere you push your gas right when you get to the red light. You know that makes no sense. Neither does working so hard to get something done right then when you are almost done you mess it all up by rushing to get it done fast. If you want to do it right then you will have to take your time to do it right. Unless you plan on failing you need to stick to your plans. And since things can take longer than you planned, you will have to plan on doing whatever it takes no matter how long it takes to get it done right.
