Proper rest is needed no matter how old you are
You need to get enough sleep just as much as you need to maintain your diet and get plenty of exercise. It seems like people make sure to eat healthy and at least get some form of exercise yet they don't even pay attention to the hours of rest they are getting. When you are sick you and your doctor never seem to attribute it to a lack of proper rest. You may have caught a cold and need medicine but your body needs rest to recouperate. They put very sicksick patients in an induced coma because the body heals better and faster when you are asleep. So if you find yourself sick you need to get extra rest. And to keep yourself healthy you need to get proper rest everyday. Of course there are times when you treat yourself to a piece of pie but most of the time you eat right. There will be times when you stay up a little late but most of the time you need to get the rest you need. You may think you don't need a bedtime when you are grown up but you do if you want to stay healthy.
