It's not a "staircase" till you build steps

The phrase "slow and steady wins the race" is about a Life Philosophy. The race between the tortoise and the rabbit is an example to remind you that taking your time and staying focused will get you the positive outcome you want. Anything worth having is worth your full attention to make sure you stay focused. Don't waste your time or energy on finding a short cut that like the rabbit it will lead you just short of where you planned to be. Each step in Life that you take is just as important as each step in a staircase is to get you where you want to be. It's not a "staircase" till you build the steps.
