Pack it up and wait

Today I took down the Christmas tree and packed it back in the closet. I didn't buy any new decorations so it fit nicely back in there. Last year time flew between one Christmas and the next. But the older I get I want time to slow down. As you age you realize that everyday that passes is precious and the slower it goes the more time to enjoy every precious moment while you can. Just when you get old and figure things out your body starts to give out. I still get mad that so many people said fifty is the new thirty because honestly I am fifty and all I can say is you wish you were still thirty.
