What do you think has the biggest impact on children,your words or your actions? They say actions speak louder than words. This may be true if you say one thing but do another. They say words will never hurt you yet what you say is what they learn. So the answer is they both have a big impact on their way of thinking. You often hear people say they are exactly like their parent. As much as I hate to admit it I too have not only the good parts of my father but also his not so pleasant qualities too. His way of thinking had been planted in my mind. I realize that I am now the teacher to my kids and grandkids as well as others around me. So before I say a word or choose how to react I need to stop and think about whether I would want those around me to learn it from me.
