It's not always what you say but how you say it to them that determines what they HEAR.
If you want them to HEAR IT you can't make them CLOSE THEIR EARS.
If you want them to HEAR IT a certain way then make certain that you SAY IT THAT WAY.
Once you say it OUT LOUD you can't make them UN-HEAR IT.
Remember what every parent says...if you don't have anything nice to say then DON'T SAY ANYTHING.
If you don't mean it then why would you say it?
Stop and THINK about it so you can say it so they will HEAR IT how you meant to SAY IT.
If you DO SAY SOMETHING and THEN YOU REGRET IT then make sure they HEAR YOU APOLOGIZE.
If you STOP and THINK before you SAY IT OUT LOUD you WOULD REALIZE THAT YOU are THANKFUL you didn't SAY IT OUT LOUD.
