Build it where you want
I knew it was Spring just by hearing the birds singing and chirping outside my windows. It was time to start the Spring Cleaning. I took down the curtains to wash. When the windows were cleaned I went to get the curtains out of the dryer. They were still wet. So I started the dryer and got busy putting clean sheets on the beds. I went back to the dryer and they were still wet. I realized my dryer was broke and I had to go buy a new one right in the middle of spring cleaning. As I waited outside for my husband to go to the store. I was walking around when a bird with a twig in his mouth swooped low beside me straight behind a bush. After he flew away I walked over to see his nest and there in my dryer vent he had built his nest. I quickly pulled a foot long nest. I went inside and turned on my dryer. Twenty minutes later I hung up my curtains. Later my husband went out and replaced the broken slats on the dryer vent so he could not build there again. I wander what the bird thought when the nest he had worked so hard on was now hidden behind a plastic wall.
