Make them giggle

I listened as the man in front of me was yelling at the store clerk. He was ranting and raving about how every time he came in the store he had to endure such service from their employees. I watched the cashier cringe with each angry remark that was being spewed out to him, as he smiled. When the man had left as I unloaded my overflowing cart, I reminded the cashier how lucky he was that the man only purchased one item and was out quickly. This made him giggle and helped him to Just Flush the man's comments away.
