Stand up or you will get knocked down
If no one is held accountable for their actions then they can do whatever they want. If we want to be able to count on being treated honestly and fairly then we must insist that those who are not are held accountable for their actions. Setting standards is a start but if they are not followed nor expected to be upheld and there are no consequences when they are not met then in the end you will be standing alone. Stand up for what is right and insist that everyone is treated fairly before one day you are the one that will get knocked down.

Not what I expected
Nowadays it seems as if the phrase "Justice For All" is not always the case. My husband calls me a dreamer when I always expect to get treated fairly and when I don't I get extremely hurt personally. It is as if I am expected to always expect to be treated unethically and deal with it. I know that very clearly we all get "tinkled on and poohed in" throughout life that is how I came up with the message behind "Just Flush It." There is just No Way I should have to expect every interaction with every Human being that I will be treated inhumane and just have to accept it. We should expect and only accept "Justice For All" then that is what We will get.

Raises your chances of being a victim
If you needed help would there be anyone to help? If you saw someone who needed help would you help them? If you help others when you can then in return they may help you or someone in need of a helping hand. In society today it seems as if not only have we lost the human compassion and instinctively jump in to help when we see others being treated badly but in our everyday lives we at times treat other people as if we had no human feelings at all. If everybody walks by and they don't step in to help the victim it turns a crime into an everyday occurrence that will raise your chances of being a victim.

Investment for the future
Helping someone when they are down on their luck is an investment for the future by creating a positive tone in society. We all benefit from the "peace of mind" that you give them that they pass on to others as they are able to now flow through each day with a smile of relief. Even a small positive gesture as simple as a smile can catch them off guard and distract them from the stress on their mind enough to relax them as your smile hugs their face causing them to smile spontaneously. Those you help today will help others in return causing a domino effect spreading seeds of humanity in society that we all reap the harvest from.

They wear a camouflage
When you look into their eyes you just might see their soul trapped inside. Although their words and actions may not reveal any clues to who they are deep down in their soul their eyes are the window to see just who they really are. You can not always judge a book by it's cover when it comes to people because to protect themselves emotionally they wear a camouflage. Under their hard shell is someone waiting to feel safe enough to come out. Their shell was built from layer after layer they had to put on throughout life to protect their inner self.

Silent words of Wisdom
Just listening will usually help those who already know they have a problem and for those who don't they won't benefit from your wisdom until they feel like you heard them and understand their problem. Sometimes people can figure out their own problems as they talk about it. It helps them to sort out the facts as they explain it to you. There is a time for words of wisdom and then there are times when it is wise to be silent. Lending an ear may be all they need. Silent words of wisdom sometimes speaks volumes.

Catch a Glance
In a crowded waiting room instead of getting mad at how long you have to wait entertain yourself to help the time go faster. Catch the glance of a young child and give them a warm smile and for the rest of your time waiting they will keep checking to see if you are watching them ready to smile real big as to say "I see you." You won't be able to resist smiling back at them. After several warm smiles that you share they seem to call your name and you finally can get out of that chair. Enjoy a glance and a smile while you are waiting instead of getting angry.
