When did our LAST EVERYTHING IS A DOLLAR store make things so much over the TIMES of the OLD ONE DOLLAR PRICE?

     I had not been to the DOLLAR TREE STORE in a FEW YEARS so....... When did the PRICES START MATCHING the DOLLAR GENERAL PRICES?

     Someone told me when I said I was going that I HAD TO LOOK AT THE PRICES so I WASN'T EXPECTING it to be a CHEAP TRIP like in the PAST.

     I said yes I had HEARD that THINGS COULD BE UP TO $1.75 EACH ITEM.

     I Said that that was still a GOOD PRICE compared to MOST STORES.

     But I COULD BARELY FIND ANY PRICES ON ANYTHING so I really DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I was BUYING WOULD COST ME.

      At first I found SEVERAL THINGS I wanted that were EACH EITHER $1.25 UP TO $1.75 so it was OKAY.

      BUT THEN.......a five pack of Matchbox cars that normally sold at Walmart for $4.99 was $6 EACH.

     NOW THAT IS JUST WRONG!

      BUT they still had PLENTY OF CUSTOMERS so I GUESS THEY WERE GETTING AWAY WITH RIDICULOUSLY HIGHER PRICES than OTHER STORES AROUND THEM. 

       SO....if the STORE YOUR GOING TO has the WORD "DOLLAR" IN IT..... DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING IN THE STORE COST ONE DOLLAR.

      It's TIME to STICK TO YOUR BUDGET no matter what the NAME OF THE STORE IS. 

      IF YOU DON'T NEED IT..... DON'T BUY IT and JUST SAVE YOUR DOLLARS!
