Be GRATEFUL for WHAT YOU DO HAVE and ENJOY IT

       From a DISTANCE you MAY THINK that LIFE is WAY WORSE than it REALLY IS.

       Which is WHY you have to LOOK VERY CAREFULLY so that you can REALLY SEE IT.

      Through the CLOUDS you can SEE THE SUN yet you CAN'T SEE the SUN AT ALL yet.

      But as SOON as the CLOUDS MOVE you will NEED TO put on your SUNGLASSES.

      Not EVERYTHING will WORK OUT PERFECTLY but as long as IT WORKS you can be GLAD that it WORKED ENOUGH.

       You may be HOPING for ONE THING and yet STILL ENJOY what you GOT and be THANKFUL for what you DO HAVE.

      When you SEE IT then you LEARN how to APPRECIATE what YOU DO HAVE and then you will be FOREVER THANKFUL for WHAT YOU DO HAVE and ENJOY IT.

      When you are GRATEFUL you will REALIZE just HOW GRATEFUL YOU HONESTLY SHOULD BE.

     You will NEVER GET everything that you could ever dream of but..... That's JUST LIFE.... and LIFE is ENJOYING the LIFE you DO HAVE.

      

      

       

If you are OKAY then..... EVERYTHING ELSE is OKAY

      It may be RAINING outside and you could GET UNCOMFORTABLY WET but... luckily you are not like that WICKED WITCH on the movie that gets DROWNED by the WATER.

      You may easily get FRUSTRATED if you get a FLAT TIRE but.... at least you SHOULD BE GLAD that you DIDN'T just WRECK YOUR CAR.

      You WON'T ALWAYS BE THANKFUL for the STRUGGLES that you had to FACE during your LIFE'S JOURNEY.

     But you CAN ALWAYS BE THANKFUL that you LEARNED a lot from the STRUGGLES that you FACED.

     When TIMES GET TOUGH it MAKES SENSE that you will FEEL STRESSED for a MOMENT but then..... you have to LEARN from IT and JUST FLUSH IT out of your mind to KEEP MOVING AHEAD AGAIN.

     It's like that sign that INSPIRED ME said...

It's OKAY to sit on your pity-potty every now and again just be sure and FLUSH when you are done.

      Life is LEARNED AS YOU GROW and you got to GROW WHEREVER YOU ARE PLANTED and when SHIT HAPPENS you got to JUST FLUSH IT to make ROOM for PEACE OF MIND to GET IN.

     PEACE OF MIND is JUST A FLUSH AWAY so.... JUST FLUSH IT and ENJOY YOUR LIFE while you are LIVING IT.

     

     

STAYING BUSY helps you be....

      Our minds have an ENDLESS STREAM of THOUGHTS that sometimes makes it hard to STAY BUSY so you can STAY FOCUSED on what is IMPORTANT.

     When a NEGATIVE THOUGHT tries to "GRAB YOUR ATTENTION" you have to get BUSY with POSITIVE THINGS to FORGET ABOUT IT.

     If you want to CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS then FILL YOUR LIFE with OTHER POSITIVE things TO DO to KEEP YOU BUSY THINKING about OTHER THINGS.

    When you start THINKING about what has happened that UPSETS YOU start THINKING about what has also happened that made you HAPPY TODAY.

    EVERY DAY there are GOOD THINGS as well as THINGS you wish you could have AVOIDED.

    What will you CHOOSE to REMEMBER ABOUT TODAY?

     If you DID something that you REGRET DOING then MAKE SURE that you NEVER DO IT AGAIN.

    If you DID something that you would LOVE TO DO again sometime then REMEMBER that and DO IT AGAIN ONE DAY.

      CHOOSE to REMEMBER that EVERY DAY is ANOTHER DAY and EVERY MOMENT is ANOTHER MOMENT that you CAN CHOOSE TO POSITIVELY ENJOY.

    WE ONLY have the TIME WE HAVE to ENJOY EVERY MOMENT that WE HAVE.

    When you need to CHANGE YOUR WAY OF THINKING you will have to START THINKING DIFFERENTLY by STAYING BUSY DOING things to DISTRACT your way of THINKING.

You CAN'T move PAST IT until you at FIRST ACKNOWLEDGE it so YOU CAN.....

      You CAN'T FORGET IT until you ACCEPT IT so you can FORGET IT.

      You CAN'T FORGIVE IT until you KNOW WHAT you need to FORGIVE.

      PRETENDING that IT DIDN'T HAPPEN will ONLY KEEP IT from ALLOWING you to DEAL WITH IT so you can JUST FLUSH IT out of your mind.

      Once you ACCEPT IT then you will have LEARNED FROM IT so you can JUST FLUSH IT and FORGET IT.

     Once you GROW AS YOU GO throughout your Life's JOURNEY you will LEARN TO GROW WHEREVER YOU ARE PLANTED.

     There will always be GOOD DAYS and BAD DAYS, that's JUST LIFE.

     But the SOONER you LEARN how to ACCEPT IT so you can JUST FLUSH IT the SOONER you will find PEACE OF MIND.

     If you want PEACE OF MIND.....You have to ACKNOWLEDGE IT and ADJUST then.....JUST FLUSH IT out of your mind so PEACE OF MIND will have ROOM to GET IN.

     

MAKING THE MOST out of WHAT YOU DO HAVE

      ALTHOUGH a yacht would be extremely nice to OWN... YOU can still LOVE YOUR SMALL BOAT.

      I would LOVE to eat at a OVERLY EXPENSIVE STEAKHOUSE once a week but.... I am at least glad WE go every couple of months.

      WE would love to OWN A NICE NEW HOME but... WE can at least be THANKFUL for OUR TINY OLD PAID OFF HOME WE do have.

     WE may wish WE had a NEW CAR but....WE should be THANKFUL that WE have a car to drive.

     YOU may not have EVERYTHING YOU COULD EVER WANT but... YOU should be very THANKFUL for WHAT YOU DO HAVE.

     LIFE is full of UPS AND DOWNS but... that's JUST LIFE and if YOU want to ENJOY LIFE you have to ENJOY whatever LIFE YOU HAVE.

     STOP LOOKING FOR EVERYTHING TO BE PERFECT IN YOUR LIFE..... JUST ENJOY YOUR LIFE while YOU ARE LIVING IT. 🍄

YOUR THOUGHTS will DETERMINE YOUR FUTURE MOMENTS

       If you KEEP TELLING YOURSELF then YOU WILL START BELIEVE EVERYTHING that YOU SAY about YOURSELF.

      And if YOU DON'T BELIEVE YOU CAN then YOU KNOW that NO ONE ELSE will BELIEVE that YOU CAN DO IT EITHER.

      You may not ALWAYS be the SMARTEST PERSON in the room but you KNOW that you are SMART ENOUGH TO DO IT CORRECTLY.

      You don't have to be the FIRST ONE THERE to be able to ENJOY EVERY MOMENT of being there DOING IT.

      HOWEVER YOU DO IT... is HOW YOU WILL DO IT regardless of HOW OTHER PEOPLE DO IT.

      There are MANY SONG WRITERS that MAKE MANY GREAT NEW SONGS even though EVERY SONG IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT.

      There are MANY GREAT BOSSES that DO THINGS TOTALLY DIFFERENTLY that still MAKE WORKING for them a GREAT ADVANTAGE for you.

     You will NEVER BE ABLE to PLEASE EVERYONE but YOU can ALWAYS make sure that YOU PLEASE YOURSELF.

     The MINUTE YOU START BELIEVING IN YOURSELF is the MINUTE YOU WILL ENJOY EVERY MOMENT that you have.

     And since WE ALL ONLY HAVE THE TIME WE HAVE then MAKE SURE YOU DO WHAT IS BEST FOR YOURSELF EVERY MOMENT OF THE TIME you DO HAVE.

     THINK POSITIVELY AND ENJOY YOUR POSITIVITY because YOU CAN.

      

      

    

But FIRST you have to KNOW WHERE you are now......

      If you want to GET DIRECTIONS you must FIRST FIGURE OUT where you are NOW.

     You have to START WHERE YOU ARE..... REGARDLESS of HOW you GOT THERE.... And JUST ACCEPT WHERE YOU ARE.

     Which also TAKES REMEMBERING HOW YOU GOT WHERE YOU ARE SO YOU CAN MAKE SURE you NEVER COME BACK THERE AGAIN.

     The ROAD that LOOKS MORE TRAVELED is USUALLY because EVERYONE that went THAT DIRECTION GOT LEAD TO NOWHERE so they had to TURN AROUND and GO BACK the way they came.

     REMEMBER....if you GET TRAPPED IN LIFE just TURN AROUND and GO BACK and CHOOSE A DIFFERENT DIRECTION.

     LIFE IS FULL OF LESSONS and some EXPERIENCES end up as HAPPY LESSONS and some are SAD LESSIONS that YOU NEEDED so YOU COULD GROW.

     

SHOW THEM so THEY will KNOW

     If someone at a red light leaves a spot for you to be able to pull into traffic.... would you WAVE TO THANK THEM? 

     I KNOW I LIKE IT when someone I LET OUT takes a second and WAVES to me to say THANKS.

     So if someone SAVES you room please WAVE TO THANK THEM because that WAVE will MAKE THEM SMILE.

     Has someone ever HELD A DOOR OPEN for you at a STORE or a Post Office?

     I KNOW HOW PROUD I am when I see someone SMILE as my GROWN SON always HOLDS THE DOOR every chance someone is coming.

    He says HOLDING THE DOOR OPEN seems to ALWAYS MAKE OTHER PEOPLE HAPPY and that MADE HIM HAPPY.

     As we talked he said he also took NOTICE when someone WAVES whenever he SAVES THEM ROOM TO GET OUT.

    You can make a POSITIVE DIFFERENCE in SIMPLE WAYS just by MAKING PEOPLE SMILE FROM YOUR KINDNESS.

    Whether you are YOUNG or you are MIDDLE AGED OR EVEN OLD we can always be KIND to EVERYONE WE MEET.

    EVERY random act of KINDNESS will be a POSITIVE DIFFERENCE to ANYONE WHO RECEIVED IT.

    EVERY POSITIVE SEEDS WE PLANT is more POSITIVE SEEDS THAT WILL GROW.

    PEACE ON EARTH is possible by bringing PEACE OF MIND to ONE PERSON at a TIME.

What you do when YOU ARE YOUNG V.S. what you DO WHEN YOU ARE OLD

      Do you PRINT OUT your PICTURES and STORE THEM IN PHOTO ALBUMS?

     If you are OLD you probably have lots of OLD PHOTO ALBUMS but..... you RARELY LOOK at them.

      UNFORTUNATELY the YOUNGER you are the PHOTOS ON YOUR PHONE can get LOST FOREVER IN CYBERSPACE.

      When I was recently going through an OLD PHOTO ALBUM I was SHOCKED to see the TYPE OF CLOTHES we were all wearing.

     I DEFINITELY DON'T REMEMBER me ever wearing those WAY TOO SHORT SHORTS....but THERE I AM in SHORTS that are SO SHORT I am EMBARRASSED.

      If I HAD NOT SAW MYSELF in those OLD PHOTOS I would have NEVER BELIEVED I WOULD DRESS LIKE THAT.....but I OBVIOUSLY DID.

     Just because you DON'T REMEMBER EVERYTHING.... REMEMBER....a PICTURE IS DEFINITELY PROOF.

      You might be OLD NOW but there was a TIME WHEN YOU WERE YOUNG TOO.

      KIDS do things that YOUNG KIDS DO then.... THEY GROW UP AND DO GROWN UP THINGS. 

     

BELIEVE in YOURSELF

     There is always MORE than ONE WAY to SEE IT but.... HOW YOU SEE IT will determine WHAT YOU WILL be able to SEE 

     If YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT then.... YOU JUST WON'T EVER SEE IT.

     If YOU CONSTANTLY SAY YOU CAN'T then.... YOU WON'T..... because YOU WILL NEVER TRY TO DO IT.

     When you do make a MISTAKE then.... LEARN FROM IT then YOU CAN DO IT because YOU LEARNED HOW TO DO IT CORRECTLY.

     STOP EXPECTING to ALWAYS KNOW EVERYTHING just EXCEPT that you will be able to LEARN AS YOU GO through your LIFE'S JOURNEY.

    YOU DON'T NEED ANYONE ELSE'S APPROVAL...ALL YOU NEED IS TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

    Your LIFE is based on WHAT YOU BELIEVE IN.... SO THINK POSITIVELY so YOU CAN BE A POSITIVE PERSON.

    WE all ONLY HAVE the TIME WE HAVE to ENJOY EVERY MOMENT WE HAVE.

     

ENJOYING LIFE means.... doing what YOU WANT TO DO

      You don't have to do it unless you WANT TO DO IT..... despite what OTHERS around you are thinking about it.

     You can CHOOSE and therefore DECIDE by DOING what you CHOOSE TO DO and let THEM CHOOSE what they WANT TO DO.

     ENJOY Going out to a restaurant together that has both regular food as well as vegetarian foods so EVERYONE can ENJOY EATING together what EACH of you like. 

     Some PEOPLE CHOOSE to wear clothes that are COMFORTABLE to them regardless of whether you WOULD WEAR IT or NOT....you CHOOSE what YOU WILL WEAR.

     STOP JUDGING what OTHER PEOPLE DO and let THEM DO what THEY WANT TO DO and YOU CHOOSE WHAT YOU WANT TO DO.

     TEN PEOPLE could SEE the same thing yet SEE TOTALLY DIFFERENT THINGS... because HOW YOU LOOK AT IT will DETERMINE WHAT YOU WILL SEE.

      Our UNIQUENESS is what makes us ALL UNIQUELY DIFFERENT and what we EACH like is also UNIQUELY DIFFERENT....so....

     YOU DO YOU and let THEM be THEM and then WE ALL can ENJOY BEING OURSELVES.

     Your BEST FRIEND can be TOTALLY DIFFERENT than YOU but still be YOUR BEST FRIEND EVER.

      YOU CAN'T ALWAYS PLEASE EVERYONE but YOU CAN DEFINITELY ALWAYS PLEASE YOURSELF.

     

Sometimes PEACEFUL is just LESS STRESSFUL

      In LIFE YOU have to LEARN to be HAPPY even though everything in your LIFE isn't always TOTALLY HAPPY.

     When you WAKE UP in the morning you can DEFINITELY be PROUD that you WOKE UP.

      Although you are on a HEALTHY DIET you can still ENJOY some TASTEFUL alternatives.

      You may not always get EVERYTHING that you EVER WANTED but you can be very GRATEFUL that you at least have EVERYTHING that you NEED.

     A FLOWER only shows it's BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS for a SHORT TIME so STOP..... and SMELL the FLOWERS while they are BLOOMING.

     A RAINFALL may keep you from getting things done for a few moments but you KNOW we NEED the RAIN.

     Like the plaque on my wall says......

So this isn't HOME SWEET HOME just ADJUST.

     YOU must REALIZE that there will always be GOOD DAYS AND ALSO BAD DAYS.... that's JUST LIFE.

     So LEARN HOW to take all the NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES and JUST FLUSH IT out of your mind so it CAN'T HOLD YOU DOWN.

      Remember that Shit HAPPENS throughout your LIFE so JUST FLUSH IT so PEACE OF MIND will have ROOM to GET IN.

If you WANT to REMEMBER IT then....

      As you are DISCUSSING how your day went..... WHAT PARTS of your DAY will you TELL THEM?

     Are you going to be TALKING about the GOOD PARTS about TODAY or are you going to TALK about the BAD PARTS about your DAY TODAY?

      If you SPEND all of your TIME TODAY LOOKING for ANYTHING that was NEGATIVE TODAY you will DEFINITELY FIND NEGATIVE THOUGHTS about TODAY.

     LIKE the TRAFFIC May have been STRESSFUL TODAY but STRESSFUL or NOT you can ARRIVE LATE and STILL be GLAD YOU ARRIVED safely.

     If you WANT to REMEMBER the GOOD PARTS of TODAY you will HAVE TO JUST STOP and ENJOY the GOOD PARTS OF TODAY.

    And REMEMBER that EVERY DAY has GOOD PARTS as well as BAD PARTS, that's JUST LIFE.

     You have to LEARN HOW to take all the NEGATIVE THINGS that happened and ACCEPT IT then.... JUST FLUSH IT out of your mind.

    Because if you want PEACE OF MIND you will have to take ALL the NEGATIVITY and JUST FLUSH IT so PEACE OF MIND will have ROOM to GET IN.
