Neighbors watching out for each other makes a great neighborhood

In the old times you knew your neighbors would tell your parents if you did something wrong. And you knew your parents would punish you for it. Nowadays your neighbors don't bother to tell parents because they don't care or bother to correct their kids. After generations of this it has led to neighbors being afraid to say anything to parents or police. If you try to stand up for what is right you will be knocked down. If you want to feel safe in your neighborhood you have to make sure all your neighbors feel safe.
