Save it for when it is needed
Don't spend all your time playing out all the negative "What If's" in your mind. You will need the energy and the room in your mind to plan what positive steps are necessary. You can not be both positive and negative at the same time about any subject. If all you think about is tripping on something and falling then you won't be watching where you are going and you will hit your head and be knocked down because you didn't know to duck. "What If's" must be thought of in your planning of "How To" get where you want to go but then you must focus on your goal dealing with the "What" you need to do so you can "Just Do It" and you will save your energy for "If" and "When" it is needed.
