No one can give you the Moon

We have all heard the phrase "If it is too good to be true then it probably isn't true." But because we want it so much if someone comes along and assures us that they can make all our dreams come true we believe that it finally has happened to us. Then when reality sets in we realize that we had let down our guard. The higher the degree to which we felt that dream-maker would fulfill our dreams the harder it will hurt when we get smacked down with disappointment. If someone promises you the moon you got to simply remember that the Moon and the Stars can't possibly belong to anyone.
