It becomes almost invisible

In the midst of a group of leafless trees on a cold winter day stood the tiniest tree that was just covered with bright red leaves. As I admired it's vibrant color of red the other trees became almost invisible. It demanded my attention not allowing the barren feeling that the drab leafless trees sight would evoke. It reminded me that in our every day lives we may be surrounded by circumstances that evoke those same barren feelings but if we will look hard to see just one small bright area in our life we could at least for a few moments focus on it then we will feel the emotions that it's sight will bring.
