It's all in how you look at it

Now to some people a fortune cookie is merely something to eat. To others they look forward to reading them hoping to hear some words of wisdom that gets them thinking. And for a few they play the lotto numbers hoping they were given the winning numbers. Every day in Life is like a fortune cookie. You can choose to look forward to any moment of it to get out of it what you want to get out of it. You have a chance each moment to enjoy it or not and if you decide to look for what's wrong each moment then you will find it. What does a fortune cookie bring to you? What will you look for as you go through your day?

Your outlook will determine the outcome

If you have to ask yourself how many times you have let the same negative thought bring you a negative outcome then you know it is time to prevent it from doing anymore damage. You will have to get in the habit of recognizing a negative thought and quickly "Just Flush It" out of your mind before it grabs hold of your attention leading you to the same negative outcome. If you want a positive outcome you must only entertain positive thoughts that will lead you to a positive outlook that leads you to a positive outcome. Negative thoughts lead to a negative outlook that will lead you to a negative outcome.
