I'm glad I told you

Could you imagine knowing the danger of something so you try to warn someone but they don't believe you. It's torture. Saying I told you so would feel better if they had listened to your warning and they were able to avoid it. Truth is though that most people won't heed your warning and the last thing they want to hear is I told you so. I have learned to say "I was afraid that would happen." For your own peace of mind you have to at least try to warn them so they will have a chance for peace of mind if they will need your warning. Then you would both be smiling and you can say I'm glad I told you.
