It is turning people away from human interactions
It is not good or healthy to not have human interaction. We live in a time when if you want to know anything then all you have to do is look it up on the internet. If you get bored you can always play with your electronic devices. Instead of talking to someone you just send them a text or an email. People don't always answer when you call their phone but they will respond quickly to your text. Instead of going out to go shopping at the store all you have to do is order it online and have it shipped to your house. Heck if it is a gift to someone you don't even have to see them in person you can just have it mailed to their house. Instead of getting a hug from someone they "poke" you. Making time to have human interaction is necessary to keep you human. Otherwise you are like a ferral cat who doesn't know how to interact with anyone. If your only "friends" and "family" live in cyberspace, that's a problem. Since anyone in cyberspace can pretend to be who they want to be, do you really think you even know them at all? You are surrounded with many friends and family that you know are human that would love to spend time with you. So put down your devices and keep your feet planted firmly here on Earth and spend some time with them. Gathering together 'in person" to just have "small talk" is important to keep you connected to your "human side" that gets "lost in cyberspace."
