Experiences first hand

It's hard to have experienced something first hand and you try to share it with someone you care about yet they choose to go through the same painful experience. What the heck good does it do to know it yet it doesn't help them to see what you know is coming. As I watch those I care about get hurt as they experience it for themselves I can clearly see my warning fell on deaf ears as I can see their tears. Although my experience didn't save them from experiencing it for themselves it does however give me first hand knowledge of just how painful it is. Which helps them hear my comforting words from someone who has experienced it and knows exactly how painful of an experience it is and brings them comfort to know they too will smile again.
