It may not take three strikes

I got caught outside when an unexpected storm blew in. As it began to sprinkle a loud lightning bolt landed close enough to me to feel its impact as the ground beneath my feet shook sending a quiver of energy through my entire body. The power of that one bolt of lightning made me realize that in a flash you could be powerless to avoid its deadly aim. Just another reason to enjoy every moment you are alive because you don't always get three strikes before your out and it could strike at any moment.
