It starts with one hand

Being kind to someone doesn't take much effort. Like letting someone out when you are driving in rush hour traffic can certainly make them smile. And as they wave their hand to thank you for doing it, that makes you smile. That is if they take the time to wave. Would you wave to say thank you? It feels twice as good when there are two people in the car and they both wave. When you hold the door open for someone they can't help but make eye contact with you and greet you with a smile and say thank you. Without much effort you can share a smile with someone. Your smile hugs their face causing then to automatically smile back. Too often you hear people say there isn't anything they can do to make a positive difference in the world. But a smile means peace in any language. Just making them smile can distract them long enough to ease their mind. You have many opportunities throughout your day to see how many times you can make someone smile. At the end of the day you will smile knowing you made a positive difference to someone today. Be kind to everyone you meet because you have no idea what they may be facing.  Every act of kindness no matter how small makes a big difference in this crazy World we live in.
