You never know what will inspire you

It could be the sight of something that can inspire you. As you listen to others something they say may inspire you. You could be inspired in many ways yet unless you use that inspiration to get up and do it then it goes away. It is up to you. You can make all the plans in the world but if you don't get up and do something then you won't do anything you had planned. Motivation and inspiration has to be followed by action. You could have all the tools you need but unless you use them they are useless.

No matter what you have to do it but will it take you twenty minutes or hours to do it?

Whether you are young or old we all have things we have to do no matter how much we don't want to do them. So try to find a way to make it fun. You can listen to music while you do it, that may help. You can reward yourself with something after it is done, that may help. The longer you put it off the longer it will weigh heavy on your mind not allowing you to really relax. Once you get it done you can just flush it out of your mind. The sooner you get it done the more time you will have to spend doing whatever you want. Why would you spend half your day dreading doing it when it only takes twenty minutes to do? You will feel exhausted from hours of stressing about it. It is easier and less stressful to just do it in the first twenty minutes then you will have the rest of the day stress free.

Create the memories you want to remember

What will you remember most about today? Is there a memory that you wish you had not experienced today? Every day you experience moments that become your memories of that day. There are moments that you experience as you go through your day due to the actions of circumstances. Then there are moments you choose to make today. To be able to have a guarantee that you will have a happy memory each day make sure you create a happy memory every day that you can remember at the end of each day.

If you were honest with yourself you could see it

It could be right in front of you but you can choose not see it. Maybe you did see it but you wouldn't acknowledge it. That doesn't change the facts that are there in front of you that are needed to honestly see things for what they truly are. Ignoring something doesn't make it go away. To make the right decision you have to weigh in all the facts. Even if the fact is your way of thinking may be what is preventing you from seeing things clearly. You may realize that deep down inside you knew but it was just a fact that you didn't want to believe. The fact is your opinion is the only thing that guides you and your opinion is based on the facts you know.  Keep your eyes wide open so you can have an opened mind to consider all the facts.

It is hard to tell

There was a time when you could tell when someone wasn't telling the truth. Unfortunately being dishonest is something children become accustomed to seeing and they don't develope a conscience. And without a conscience they don't feel guilt, shame or compassion. They have become desensitized to human emotions. They can tell you a lie looking you straight in the face without blinking an eye. When the same person told another lie I looked as hard as I could at their nose to see if it maybe slightly twitched as the words came out of their mouth. But there was no sign at all. Each time they told another lie I would watch intently for a sign. I often wandered why I continued to listen to them at all. In some ways I was determined to one day be able to see some kind of sign. Most people have their own built in warning system which is called their conscience. It goes off when they are about to or have done something wrong. I was taught let your conscience be your guide. There definitely is a lot of lost souls out there.

Is it worth it?

You need to choose carefully whether the risk outweighs the benefits before you make your decision on whether you should do it. Because once it's done it is done. Just like when you decide to eat a bunch of chocolates you know that it's only one moment on your lips but a lifetime on your hips. You may be running late but you shouldn't risk getting a speeding ticket. Because if you do get pulled over the time it takes for them to write you a ticket will only make you arrive a lot later. Not to mention the unnecessary cost of the ticket. You are better off arriving a few minutes late.

An honest mistake may still have consequences

Sometimes you may make a big mistake despite your built in warning system going off to warn you.   At these times you clearly expect that you will have to face the consequences for not heeding the warning. But what about when you simply make an honest mistake? Will you still have a price to pay? Unfortunately sometimes you do. You will have to simply grin and bare it. At least you can not say you knew better, which helps. Nor can anyone else honestly say I told you so. Don't be so hard on yourself if you honestly make a mistake because you know that you wouldn't have done it if you would have known.

What you dont have you wander about

Those that live in a state that has cold weather vacation where it is warm. Those that live in warm weather states vacation somewhere where there is snow. We just went to the Smokey Mountains hoping to play in the snow but by the time of our reservations they had a heatwave that melted the snow. And since it was so warm instead of a snow storm we spent our four days mostly stuck in the cabin because they were experiencing rain storms. Luckily we rented a cabin that was three stories with amentities on every floor to enjoy. One thing we learned is that you can plan all you want to but you can't predict the weather. Although we missed seeing the snow we remember from our childhood just how the cold weather feels and are glad we chose to live in the warmth of the sunshine state.

You will never know everything

As you go throughout your day you briefly encounter many people. Then there are those who we see on a regular basis. We really think we know what someone's life is like that we see regularly. But the truth is you have no more idea what they are facing then the person that you had a brief encounter with. You may know some of the things they have been dealt in life but you have no idea the affect it really had on them. People are full of advice on how you should react to your situation without knowing the full impact the situation will have in your reality. What you truly are facing is something only you know. So in the end you are the only one that should decide what actions your going to take to do what's best for you.

Let's just pretend

I wish I could pretend it is still Wednesday but it is clearly Thursday. Which means I forgot on Wednesday, sorry about that. I ate way to much for dinner and fell asleep like I do after Thanksgiving dinner. We may eat more than our bodies need but there is consequences for that. Too much of anything even a good thing can be bad.

Shed more than pounds

You can have a more abundant life by eliminating a few things. Less is more sometimes. When you can cut out of your life the things and people that are making your life complicated, you feel rejuvenated. It is a big weight off of your shoulders that makes your life simpler. We tend to resist change and hang on to things we know that we would be better off without. We keep people in our lives even though we can clearly see that they are weighing you down. It's like trying to save someone from drowning but in reality they are weighing you down so much that you yourself are drowning. Keep a record of exactly what is going on in your "drowning moments" so you can clearly see why you are drowning. You can't carry a bunch of heavy sandbags and still expect to stay afloat. It's your choice. Are you going to sink or swim?

Relax your stress away

Find as many things as you can that helps you to relax. Stress can come out of nowhere and the more tools you have to flush it away the better. Stress puts your body in distress. The damage it physically causes is irreversible. Be prepared to ease your stress levels anytime and anywhere.  For instance painting may relax you but you can't always be home where you can paint. Being outside enjoying the fresh air might relax you but can't always go outside to relax. Along with physical things that can relax you there needs to be thoughts that can relax you anywhere you are. In your mind create a "happy place" that you can go to that can help you to relax at anytime you need to. It sounds impossible to do but your imaginary space in your mind is so visual that you can literally feel as if you are physically there. Just like reliving memories can be so vivid that you feel as though you are actually back in time reliving them. My "happy place" is near a water fountain. I can hear the water trickling down and feel the breeze blowing in my hair as if I am actually transported there. It takes concentration to get there but that is how you relieve your stress by concentrating hard to get to your "happy place".
