You must stop long enough to see

Don't be in such a hurry all the time because the best things in life can not be felt unless you stop long enough to see them to feel the joy that it could bring. If you never have time to enjoy the little things in life then you won't be able to enjoy the big ones either. Take the time to stop and smell the roses or to feel the breeze blow away the tension to help you feel refreshed. Enjoying the simple little joys in life will help energize you to help you deal with the bigger issues you may have to face later. Slow down. Running around all the time like a chicken with his head cut off won't allow you to see anything at all.

The beauty that lies within the storm

As I sat in my car during an unexpected severe thunder storm, the sound of the raindrops were so loud on the roof of my car that they were almost painful to my eardrums. The power of Nature was apparent as the thunder shook not only my car but I could feel my organs quiver deep inside. The patterns and ripples from the giant raindrops were a work of Art that changed as each round of drops splattered and ran down the windshield. At times the raindrops fell in perfectly aligned geometrical patterns as each new line of raindrops fell the last row drips away. If you get caught in such a storm try to focus on the pattern of raindrops to distract you and find the relaxing beauty that lies even within a severe thunder storm.

Look for It

What you are looking for will determine what you will find. How you see things will determine what you will see. If you look with your eyes wide open you will see things clearly and that will clearly be what you see. If your view is too narrow it will determine what you will be able to see. If you don't look for It then you won't find It. What are you looking for? When you find yourself dealing with so many negative issues you can find relief by focusing on finding even the smallest positive aspect. It will distract you while you are looking long enough to ease your stress and take a deep breath.

Whatever you decide

Whether it is a vacation or a career in life all the way down to even the simple choices like what to wear or what to eat for dinner each day you must decide before you can get the task done. As long as you know where you want to go you will know which direction to take that will lead you where you want to go. One decision will lead to yet another decision but that is the only way you will get wherever you decided that you wanted to go. You can't make the right decision till you make a decision.

Answers that can never be found

We all have times when there just are no answers to the questions we want answered. Nor can everything that you have a question about be found on Google either. You will have to just accept that it is what it is and no matter how hard we try things just happen, that's just Life and Life isn't always fair. Winning in life means you found a way to enjoy Life despite all that you had to live through. You simply managed to live Life to it's fullest while you were living not spend it searching for answers that can never be found.

Seen only at a glance

A quick glance can say a lot. In an instant it lets someone know how you feel without uttering a word. Your facial expression mimics and contours to shout out just how you feel. The old saying "A picture is worth a thousand words" is true. Think about what your face is saying with those you make eye contact with. Make sure the picture others have of you is the words you truly wish to say. No matter what anyone says 'Words Do Hurt" even silent words seen only at a glance.

A perfectly good outcome

You can't wait for the "perfect moment" or you will miss the "moment of opportunity" that would have lead you to the "perfectly good" outcome that you were searching for. We all have heard the old saying "If it sounds too good to be true then it isn't true", yet we miss out on our opportunities in life letting them go by because we are waiting for the "perfect opportunity" to fall in our laps. What you need could be right in front of you but you will never see it if you are only looking for the "perfect anything" because it doesn't exist. Don't miss out on the "perfectly good" things in life.

At the end of the day

At the end of the day you alone will have to live with the consequences for your actions that day. Don't let anyone or anything cause you to react without having time to think about the consequences that your actions can bring before choosing how to react. You will make better choices if you just take a moment to see what your choices will bring. Consider it an investment in a brighter future. You wouldn't risk your money without considering all the options so you don't lose your investment and the reward for a brighter future is priceless. Invest the time it takes because at the end of the day you will have to live with the consequences.

What you put into your home

Your Home is not a reflection of the situations or the people you encounter outside the four walls of your home. It is the garden that is grown from the seeds in your soul. The old saying "you reap what you sow" is so true. what you put into your home will determine what is and what is not inside your four walls. Don't invite trouble in. If you want a happy Home then make it a happy place to be. The reality is that your "point of view" is your reality. A Home is what you make it and your "point of view" will determine what kind of Home you make.

Don't make a mountain out of a mole hill

Throwing your hands in the air and giving up when times are tough will only make things worse. Whatever is going to happen will simply pile up and become a mountain of problems. Tackling things as they come will keep them from becoming a mountain of despair. There is an old saying...."Anyone can make a mountain out of a mole hill if they keep adding dirt"... Don't let things that you can get done get added to the things that you can not solve or the mole hills that you must face on life's journey will turn into a mountain of problems that is too big to climb.

Stormy situations shall too pass

As the storm rolled in you could hear the thunder and see the lightning at a distance. There is no way to prevent the storm from coming, all we can do is locate the flashlights and huddle down for a stormy night. When the storm passes you deal with the damages as you recover being thankful that your still able to huddle together when the sunshine returns. In your personal life there are such stormy situations that cause some damage but your future will be bright after that stormy situation shall too pass.

Relax while you are relaxing

When you sit down to take a break to relax make sure to relax. Don't use that time to think of all the things that need to get done or the issues you may be facing. You need a break from those things that weigh heavy on your mind to truly relax. When you find time to relax make sure to use that time to mentally and spiritually relax as well as physically relax. Give yourself a true break every now and again to prevent it from breaking down to get one.

You won't be distracted

There are things that just happen to you that if you learn to deal with in a "Humorous Way" they do less damage. Most of the time you can easily shake your head and say "what the heck" and move on if you just let it go so that you can move on. "Just Flush It" out of your mind as fast as it comes when it has no effect on the "Big Picture" in your life. Don't keep it fresh on your mind because then it will have a chance to have a negative impact on the "Big Picture" in your life. Stay focused on only what is most important in life and you won't be distracted by those things that are not.

It takes an imagination

Every young child I know loves to play with an empty box, ignoring the gift that was once inside. It seems to be a natural instinct. Once they start playing with electronic toys they don't use their imagination anymore and creativity simply means how creative they can get to convince their parents to buy them another new game. You must be creative to get through things throughout your life, that is how you solve each problem as you face it. Find creative ways to get your children to use their imagination so that they will be able to creatively solve their problems when they are grown.
