Let the rain wash it away

As the rain began to fall I watched a family of red birds gather on the electric wire. They flapped their wings and shook about chirping all the while. The frogs began croaking and coming out of their hiding spots. After the showers had stopped now cleaned and refreshed the family of red birds flew to the ground below. Just waiting for the worms to retreat from their soggy underground homes. Let the rain wash away your pain and your frown will be turned upside down.

A random act of kindness

If someone needed your help could they ask you? If they needed a smile would you look the other way? You may have a lot of love in your heart but can anyone feel it? A kind word can go a long way if you say it. From one random act of kindness to another we can help each other out. Sometimes that help simply means not adding any stress.

When you're hungry leftovers look good

Now is a good time to get out recipes and give them a try. You can't afford to go out to eat as much but you still got to eat. In this economy being invited over for dinner now means something to look forward to instead of something you avoid. A pot luck dinner at your house means leftovers for a few days.

When every dollar counts

In this economy the dollar means a lot. The news keeps saying the value of the dollar is falling. But from what I can see everybody is hurting financially and the dollar today is very important. When every dollar counts you certainly count on every dollar. You see people look at pocket change differently too. A jar of change may be all you have left at the end of the month.

Many battles are fought within a war

Sometimes there is no simple answers, sometimes there is no solution. You must evaluate the situation and the damage that was done then- regroup. Figure out what you can do. Do what you can. Accept what you have to then carry on. You will lose some battles along the way but as long as you stay focused you won't lose the war.

The sun shines even when it's cold

You might need a brake job on your car but be thankful- there are those without a car. You might need a new roof but be thankful- there are those that have no home. You might have to cut back on going out to eat but be thankful- for there are those that go to bed hungry. You might be angry when you don't get what you want but be thankful you have what you need- there are those that don't.

Give your mind a spring cleaning

Spring cleaning is more than washing the curtains and dusting from top to bottom. Of course your clothes need to be gone through and winter ones tucked away. But what about the clutter bottled up inside your mind? That needs to be evaluated and cleared out just the same. Keep only what you need to then flush the rest away. Give your mind a spring cleaning.

It's within reach.

Everything is within reach but you must reach for it to get it. For example...if you want to make homemade bread you must first find out the ingredients, then go buy them. Now you still still have to mix the dough then putit in the oven. Not ready yet you still got to wait for it to turn a golden brown and remove it from the oven. If you want to eat fresh bread not only do you got to make it before you can take a bite you got to reach for it to put it into your mouth.

Juggling takes concentration and timing

Juggling the bills each month is stressful on your mind, body, and soul. Eliminate stress wherever you can. "Just Flush It." It is necessary to cut out spending except for your necessities and to flush out stress that is weighing you down unnecessarily. Juggling the bills is hard enough but adding unnecessary stress in your mind will mess up your concentration and timing. You must keep your mind clear so you are able to focus on what your doing.

Is it a battle worth fighting for?

Holding on to something that is wounding you as you battle-is a battle that is not worth fighting for. You must accept defeat and cut your loses if you want the struggle to end. Lick your battle wounds and carry on. Pick and choose your battles as you regroup. Don't let your anger lead the way nor your sadness hold you back.Just dig down deep within yourself for the answers you need can only be found there.

Lets not stress each other out

It is hard to pay your bills when your bills are more than you get paid. Businesses are going under cause their customers can not pay. We are all under stress so lets try not to stress each other out. Your kindness could open doors that lead to a less stressful day.

Enjoy life while your living

The life that you are living -no matter how hectic it may be- is the only life you have so live it happily. Focus on what's important but make time to enjoy the little everyday joys. Make every moment count. To enjoy life you must enjoy it while your living day to day.

Quit stressing your heart out

If your heart could talk what would it say? It would tell you to stop making it work so hard. Between grease and the emotional roller coaster you put it through it needs a break to restore it's health. Your heart means life. Sudden cardiac arrest means death. Too many fries and too much stress can suddenly end your life.
